My name is Jordan Lesich. I've been learning web development for a bit over a year (mostly frontend). I joined the discord in the summer but I had wanted to learn a little bit more about backend development and also wanted to implement an idea I had before I committed to the guild. I'll share a link to the proof of concept in the Discord. Before learning development, I had worked or hobbied in many aspects of content creation, mostly screenplay and fiction writing, but I had also done some documentary and audio production gigs here and there. Through every skill I learned, the end has always been to use the skills and tools I have to build a product. That seems to be a constant drive for me. I've taken some time to learn about the big picture implications of crypto by listening to some interviews with Vitalik as well as reading some books (Life After Google, The Truth Machine, The Internet of Money). I also learned a bit about contract development with Solidity in the summer, but not enough to justify adding a tag. I've taken the time to read through the handbook and a couple of the Raid medium articles. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
