Kicking Off Fireside Chat Month: Field Notes From The Edge

How are real builders, operators, and professionals changing the way they work with AI, automation, web3, and digital coordination?
From Monday, June 8 through June 30, RaidGuild is running Fireside Month: a focused run of 30-minute conversations with members, collaborators, founders, operators, contractors, designers, and people working at the edge of changing workflows.
This is not a speaker series. It is a practical research, content, and community loop.
The goal is simple: learn from what people are actually doing, not what the hype cycle says they should be doing.
What A Fireside Is
A Fireside is a lightweight recorded conversation. The format is simple:
- Invite someone with real field experience.
- Ask what they are building.
- Dig into what has changed in their work.
- Capture the tools, prompts, agents, workflows, and habits they actually use.
- Ask what still feels hard, risky, broken, or confusing.
- Turn the useful parts into Portal artifacts others can learn from.
Each session may become:
- A summary
- A transcript
- A short clip
- A blog post or article seed
- A workflow note or diagram
- A follow-up session, intro, or collaboration
Conversation Is Research
Good builders need more than technical skill. They need taste, timing, context, and a working model of what people actually need. Firesides create a lightweight research loop.
Every conversation can surface:
- What people are trying to do
- What language they use before a problem is fully named
- Where tools are helping
- Where tools are failing
- What people are willing to change
- What problems feel urgent enough to act on
- Where RaidGuild might build, offer services, or convene next
That makes Fireside Month useful in two directions. For RaidGuild, it is market research grounded in real conversations. For guests, members, and listeners, it is a way to compare notes with people already experimenting at the edge.
What We’ll Talk About
Each Fireside will explore questions like:
- What are you working on right now?
- How has AI or automation changed your workflow?
- What tools, prompts, agents, or processes are actually useful?
- What still feels broken, risky, or confusing?
- What would you want help building, validating, or automating?
- What should other builders learn from your experience?
Why This Matters For RaidGuild
RaidGuild is strongest when craft stays close to real problems. Firesides help by creating a shared place to capture:
- Hard-won knowledge from members and collaborators
- Practical examples across design, engineering, product, operations, governance, sales, and delivery
- Better questions for future guests, clients, and collaborators
- New relationship surfaces that are not pitch decks or sales calls
- Public artifacts that make the Portal more useful
The Portal gives this loop a home base:
- Upcoming sessions
- Summaries
- Transcripts
- Related artifacts
- Comments
- Follow-up links and opportunities
Why Join
The Portal will be the home base for Fireside Month.
That means upcoming sessions, recordings, summaries, transcripts, related artifacts, comments, and follow-up links will land there first.
